The bottom line is if you request a refund, they quickly go on their site and change the policy so it looks different. I was smart enough to get screen shots before they did it. But they refuse to refund the money. Paypal will side with them because it is software. They send nasty hateful emails when you ask for a refund, and block the program so you can’t use it. So if you request a refund… you get hateful emails, no program to use, and no refund. I don’t know about you all, but I’m not one to want to donate money to hateful nasty people that can’t even let you use what you purchased, when they wont honor their promised money back guarantee.

My son used his birthday money to purchase this download (he just turned 11). He had been waiting to get it for about 2 months. After downloading, he made his first app, then discovered that this purchase only included the ability to make ONE APP. When he tried to make another, he found out that he would have to pay another $50 to make unlimited apps!! It doesn’t mention this anywhere at all on the descriptions here on amazon.com!!! He also got the mobile app cat pro but when he tried to log in to that with his credentials it did not work. He tried it about 3 times–also tried to change the password and username under his account and couldn’t. He wanted to be able to make unlimited apps through the mobile app cat, and understood that he would first have to purchase app cat for the PC, then use same info to log into mobile app. There isn’t even any contact info for app.cat to log a complaint! Very disappointed birthday boy and mom.
(actually, in the descriptions on this page, it says “MAKE APPS” –PLURAL!!– so not only non-disclosure of the fact that you can only make ONE app with this, but deliberate misleading information: saying you can make APPS…)

Save your money on App.cat. This company is very deceiving and is constantly changing the way they offer this product. Also I believe their refund request is probably against the law. How can a company request your cc info when i paid through my bank account with paypal. They also require some kind of identification and they want photocopies of that also. Then you are supposed to mail their “form” back. How ridiculous! This software has too many limitations that you have no control over unless you upgrade. Buyers beware
