Very Disappointed, June 22, 2012

As a user of an earlier version I expected and looked forward to improvement in the newer version – but no, it’s not even as good as the earlier version – major complaint is that the user guide explicitly gives directions on importing text files for practice. No can do – the user screen itself has no mechanism for importing anything – in other words, the user manual and actual screen display are not matched. Rest of the new version (25th Anniversary Deluxe) has only minimal functionality. Don’t spend your money on this product – whatever positive attributes it had in earlier version – they are gone now. (Only reason I give it a ’1′ is because a zero is not selectable).

Former Mavis Beacon User Very Pleased with New Product, March 30, 2012

As a teenager, I spent many hours typing on an older version of Mavis Beacon, and I have never regretted the investment I made in learning to type properly and rapidly. I recently purchased this version of Mavis Beacon to help me overcome my weaknesses and take my typing skills to the next level. It has definitely been everything I expected, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone, from beginner to advanced, who wants to improve their typing skills. The program automatically adapts to your needs, and will construct a customized program designed to make you a proficient and balanced typist.

Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this product, and I am glad to see that newer versions have upheld the standard of excellence set forth by the preceding ones.
