Good product, December 30, 2011

I purchased this for work, I was hoping for more landscape options, as it does not list in vast detail what the product has, but house size and land size is very restricted. When i opened it, i figured out how to use the product with no past similar product use. Very easy to navigate. However i was unable to do some basic stuff, I tried, I used help, etc. finally i had to call and wait for someone to inform me, that i did not download a portion of the product. I said I downloaded it from Amazon and my assumption is it is all there, unless it says to download something else, he gave me step by step directions and I downloaded the missing stuff, pretty easily; 3/4 of the product itself did not download, trees, house stuff etc… This extra download took over 2 hours. He was very helpful, but i still expect to be notified if i need to download or update more than what i am given.

Study and compare before you buy (erat emptor), December 6, 2011

I do not mean by my title to scare anyone away: this is great software from “Essentials to Home Designer Pro 2012″.
What I want to communicate is that each Chief Architect Inc software title has differing capabilities and features. In other words there is a good reason why they sell for different prices and that price determines how much you get in terms of choices and efficiency.

The hard part is knowing what you need and want before you buy: your money is a known and real quantity whereas your own expectations are sometimes harder to quantify especially by others.

Chief Architect Inc offers free trial demonstration software for its Chief Architect Premiere software and some of its Home Designer titles which you should download, install and try out.

I have and use all their software titles from Home Designer Essentials to Chief Architect Premiere, use them every day in my business.
Any of their titles are well worth your time and money, just take the time to study the capabilities of each of them and then pick out the right one for you.
