I used to work in an electronic store for many years, customers would always come to me to find power adapters and we had all different types and I had a lot of training from a lot of electrical technicians and experts. So I have a pretty good grasp on power adapters and power in general. I read many reviews saying only get the official apple brand and watch out for knockoffs. Well with my experience the rule of thumb is as long as the input/output voltages and amperage match from the original…that’s all that really matters. The specs matched identical to the original apple charger and it also has a magnetic connection. So bottom line, it works. Just buy it.
So why pay $80 for the official Apple brand when I could pay a fraction of that for something that works?

I bought this charger over a month ago and stopped working and melted my charger. I unplugged it from the computer and it sparked. Wow, scary to know that this could have caught on fire if I wasn’t home. Hell No ..I would never buy one of these charger again from here.
