This review is from: Apple MacBook Pro MD101LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (NEWEST VERSION) (Personal Computers)

    My first impressions:

I used to own a unibody (2009) core2duo. Theres about few major differences from the upgrade that I noticed.

First the fan noise. I light whisper. My old device had no sound at all, but suffered from heat issues watching flash videos, then when stressed more the fan would get very loud. However this new model (which may be similar to the i5 series CPU) runs cool and more constant. I suspect its fan is different it idles at 2000rpm.

The CPU, the difference isn’t always apparent but does perform well so far and is noticeable watching videos. Ill need to play with it more before i can really say more. Originally I had interest in a MacBook air but didn’t want to get an even weaker device than the base series pro, since apples products are underpowered to begin with and I recall the AIR isn’t user upgradable (unless I’m wrong?) I felt this model was best. And I could most likely upgrade ram to 16gb (still have to confirm this is possible on this release)

Lastly battery sustains itself ever so slightly better. My older device battery health hardly deteriorated (4%) and this guy seems to cruise smoothly without significant drain.
