I love norton. I buy about 10 copies a year because I have a lot of computers. I was a bit mislead by this box, 1 user 3 pcs. I thought I could install it on 3 pcs in my home and it would run for a year on each pc. well, it does not. My antivirus protection on my computers expires at different times. I just realized that when you install on the 2nd and 3rd computer, it only allows you the time left on the first computer, which to me, should be clearly advertised on the box, which I could not see it anywhere. I would have bought the other option of it, where they send you 3 discs. I did not realize it was this way.

I had switched to Norton back in 2009 when they started getting positive reviews for keeping resource usage at a minimum. I haven’t had any real complaints with it until this 2012 version. Ever since installing it my computer runs sluggish & found it was Norton (ccSvcHst.exe) eating up 88% of my CPU just idling, it wasn’t even scanning! Norton is quick to report other applications with resource usage but doesn’t report itself. I cannot in good conscious recommend this product until they fix this issue & go back to using minimum resources as they did in 2009-2011.
